Archipelago Sea Square has been opened 19 May, 2011

The Archipelago Sea square, made of 4550 concrete slab bearing the name of the donor, has been built  by the Forum Marinum Foundation. Each slab costs for 50 euros and 30 euros for each slab is donated to Archipelago Sea Protection Fund. The campaign aims to raise funds for more than 135.000 euros and already on 19 May 120.000 euros has been donated to the Archipelago Sea Protection Fund.

The state of the Finnish Archipelago Sea has not improved in the manner hoped for despite the fact that many resources have been targeted to decrease the load of nutrients. The results need to be improved.
