Accessibility

It is easy to visit us

Our large parking area has plenty of spaces, with disabled parking available in front of the museum buildings. Parking on the yard is free for four hours using a parking disc.

Accessibility

Our exhibition buildings, Linnanpuomi and Kruununmakasiini, are accessible.

The museum ships are difficult to visit for people with reduced mobility. The use of a wheelchair is not possible aboard the ships. Due to narrow passages and steep stairs, we do not recommend that people with reduced mobility visit the vessels without an assistant.

We are aware of the general need for fragrance-free visitor premises. However, it is a need we are unable to fully commit to at this time.

Cloakrooms and lockers

Both buildings have an unattended cloakroom and free lockers near the ticket sales.

Forum Marinum’s helpful customer service

The customer service staff of the museum are happy to answer any questions. The members of the staff wear horizontally striped shirts or coats with a Forum Marinum logo.

You can also contact us before your visit at asiakaspalvelu@forum-marinum.fi or +358 40 5525 477.
